The Swedish School of Social Science conducts scholarly research in the social sciences, focusing on Nordic welfare issues, ethnic relations and communication. A clear strength of the School’s research is that it is of current and societal relevance, exploring topical societal issues such as migration, citizenship and the welfare state.
The research is based on the six scholarly fields represented at the School, but has become increasingly interdisciplinary and is currently organised into five thematic networks.
