Science trails are located around the Research Stations of the University of Helsinki. Kilpisjärvi's Science Trails are the first Science Trails to be available for travelers and visitors in digital form through an application. The Kilpisjärvi Science Trails were funded by the European Regional Development Fund via the Regional Council of Lapland. The work of creating digital Science Trails for the other Research Stations will continue in the future.
