The research carried out at the Faculty of Science is largely based on data sets and the research instruments with which they are collected. When we study the impact of climate change, for example, we use data collected by a world-wide network of measuring stations. In the field of astrophysics, in turn, we use high-end observatories and space instruments. We monitor seismological processes continuously with real-time measurements. Our faculty is also well networked and many parts of our infrastructure serve international research projects and collaborations with other universities.
