Training in clinical genetics, chemistry and microbiology

The Faculty of Medicine offers training in clinical genetics, clinical chemistry and clinical microbiology either as part of a Licentiate of Philosophy degree or separately after completing an applicable postgraduate research degree.
Information on the training programmes

The Licentiate of Philosophy degree comprises two main components: postgraduate research studies and a licentiate thesis, completed alongside training in clinical genetics, chemistry or microbiology. Holders of a doctoral or licentiate degree in philosophy only complete the training in clinical genetics, chemistry or microbiology.
