Employment as a doctoral researcher

The next application period for university-funded doctoral researcher positions will be in autumn 2025.

Other ways of funding a PhD project is a salary paid by the supervisor or a personal grant from a private foundation applied by the doctoral candidate him/herself. Doctoral candidates may also fund their studies themselves or pursue their degree in tandem with work.

De­cision on salaried po­s­i­tions 2024

DPDR received altogether 52 applications. All eligible application completed a competency assessment, and their applications were evaluated by external evaluators. The DPDR board selected 6 top applicants for a University-funded position based on the scores.
