The Doctoral Programme in Clinical Research at the University of Helsinki is aimed at training professional researchers and academic scientists in the field of clinical medicine and health sciences. The objective of the programme is to ensure that doctoral researchers develop the skills and competence necessary for independent clinical research.

150 new doctoral students are admitted each year. We're an international community, and the programme is multilingual: you can complete a degree in either Finnish, Swedish or English.
