Welcome to Viikki Campus at the geographical centre of the City of Helsinki! Viikki Campus is an international hub of life sciences, where cutting-edge research brings solutions to grand challenges of the world. The Campus is surrounded by numerous research fields and has operated in front lines of the life sciences since 1946.
Faculties and units
The Viikki Campus is the home base for four university faculties operating in the field of agriculture, forestry, bio- and veterinary sciences and pharmacy, as well as several independent research institutes. The campus employs nearly 1,900 people and has more than 6,000 students.

Organizations at the Campus
In addition to the University’s units, the campus area hosts several government research institutions with which the University cooperates. The University of Helsinki’s esteemed Viikki Teacher Training School as well as Helsinki Think Company are also integral parts of life and work on campus.
Services
The student information point at Info Centre Korona provide services for all students at the University of Helsinki. Three Unicafe restaurants are located in different buildings in the campus area. Vanhankaupunginlahti bay area provides outdoor recreation and the library branch of the city of Helsinki is located in the Infocenter Korona.
